SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN PENENTUAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DAN MATEMATIKA MENGGUNAKAN METODE WEIGHTED PRODUCT (WP)

Abstract


Determination of Student Learning Interests in English and Mathematics lessons still use a manual work system. The research objective is to design and build a decision support system (SPK) application to determine students' interest in learning English and Mathematics in SMP Negeri 2 Kadatua. The Weighted Product (WP) method is used to calculate and determine student interest in learning, there are three criteria, namely Academic Achievement (Cost), National Examination (Cost), Non Academic Achievement (Benefit). Testing the application using 78 student data with the results of the calculation of 47 students tend to Mathematics while 31 students are interested in English lessons. The conclusion of the research conducted is the existence of a Decision Support System (SPK), can help the school in determining students who are interested in English and Mathematics subjects.
