PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI DALAM MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS VIII MTs NEGERI 4 BUTON SELATAN

Abstract


The formulation of the problem in this study is can the application of the expository learning model improve social studies (IPS) learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTs Negeri 4 South Buton. The purpose of the study was to find out the application of the Expository
learning model in improving IPS learning outcomes of grade VIII students of MTs 4 South Buton. This study uses a type of classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this study are students of grade VIII MTs 4 South Buton, amounting to 24 students. Data collection
technique in this study is observational method. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained: 1) in the first cycle student learning activities only reached 61% and experienced an increase in the second cycle to 84% .2) in the first cycle the teacher's activity only reached 75% and experienced an increase in the second cycle to 95%. 3) Student learning outcomes in IPS subjects in grade VIII MTs 4 South Buton. In the first cycle student learning outcomes only reached 61.04% and experienced an increase in the second cycle to 76.66% .
