KINERJA GURU DALAM MEMBINA KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA DI MADRASAH ALIYAH WADIABERO KECAMATAN GU KABUPATEN BUTON TENGAH

Abstract



Problem in this research is how is teacher performance in building students’ discipline character in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero. Objective of this research is to find out the teacher performance in building students’ discipline character in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero.  Research design was qualitative research. Population in this research was all teacher in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero and a sample was five teachers in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero. Data in this research was taken by using research instrument; observation, interview, and documentation.  Research finding obtained was teachers’ performance in building students’ discipline character in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero was very good in the teacher as an educator, teacher as teacher, teacher as a guide, teacher as a trainer, and teacher as an evaluator because every teacher has been applied the five aspects well. Teachers’ performance in building student’ discipline character in Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero was by using habituation method, exemplary, lecture, and simulation. Of these methods, graduates of Madrasah Aliyah Wadiabero that must be owned by every student, namely: the discipline that came from within the individual itself and outside himself
