PENERAPAN METODE PICTURE AND PICTURE DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 2 MAWASANGKA

Abstract


Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana penerapan metode picture The formulations of the problems in this study are: (1) How is the application of the picture and picture method in increasing the learning activities of students of class VII2 SMP Negeri 2 Mawasangka? (2) Can the application of the picture and pictured method improve the
learning outcomes of Social Sciences (IPS) students of class VII2 SMP Negeri 2 Mawasangka? The study was conducted with a classroom action research approach and was conducted in SMP Negeri 2Mawasangka. The subjects in this study were (1) students of grade VII2 of SMP Negeri 2 Mawasangka, consisting of 22 students. Instrument and data collection
techniques used are observation sheets, and final cycle tests. Where the test used is a teachermade test which aims to find out the completeness
of student learning individually and classically and the observation method used to obtain data about the process of implementing learning and student learning activities, data analysis used is quantitative descriptive data and the observation method is used qualitative data. Based on the analysis of the results of the study showed that (1) Learning using the Picture and Picture method in the subjects of IPS grade VII2 Students of SMP Negeri 2 Mawasangka can improve student learning activities and outcomes. The results of activities and student learning outcomes in the first cycle were good at 77.50% and in the second cycle the good was 81.33%. This indicates that there was an increase in activity and student learning outcomes by 3.83%. (2) The application of the Picture and Picture method in IPS subjects can increase teacher activity. The results of teacher activities in the first cycle were good at 78.57% and in the second cycle were very good at 82.14%. This shows that there was an increase in teacher activity by 3.57%.
