METODE BERJUBEL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA “MANUSIA DAN LINGKUNGAN†PADA SISWA KELAS VII-8 SMP NEGERI 4 BAUBAU SEMESTER 2 TAHUN PELAJARAN 2017/2018
Abstract
The objective of this study was to find out the increase of activity and learning achievement of IPA subject for students of class VII-8 SMP Negeri 4 Baubau in the school year 2017/2018 through the use of Berjubel method. This research was conducted on students of class VII-8 of SMPN 4 Baubau 4 that consist of 28 students. This was a classroom action research that was conducted on two cycles. In the first cycle the learning was carried out by using Berjubel method in large groups, while in the second cycle, it used Berjubel method in small groups. The data of the research were analyzed by using descriptive comparative. The results showed that, (1) students’ learning activeness increased from pre-cycle 29% to 64% in cycle 1, and it increased to 82% in cycle 2. (2) the results of students’ learning achievement increased from 57% in pre-cycle became 64% in cycle 1, and it increased to 74% in cycle 2.
